ALDI’s Community Grants Programme provides each ALDI employee with the opportunity to nominate a charity or community organisation in their local community to receive a €500 ALDI Gift Card. The Community Grants Programme helps support charities and organisations that contribute vital work and services locally.
Since the programme commenced in 2016, €620,500 has been donated to over 1,000 local charity branches and community groups across Ireland. Receiving charities and organisations range from rescue teams to animal sanctuaries, cancer support to mental health services.
The 2024 Community Grants Programme will be open to charities and community groups in April and close on 31st May. No more nominations will be taken after this time.

Step 1
Please make sure that your chosen charity or community organisation meets the criteria before nominating them. Click below to view criteria:
Step 2
Staff from each of ALDI’s stores will select a charity or community organisation in its local area to receive an ALDI Gift Card worth €500, enabling ALDI’s staff to help the local good causes they care about. Organisations wishing to nominate themselves can apply at any of ALDI’s stores across the country.
You can either download the application form below OR provide a written application with this information to your local ALDI store.
Step 3
Sit back and wait to see if your charity or community organisation has been selected. Successful charities and community organisations will be contacted from September onwards.
