What is it?

Our Colleague Engagement Programme is an initiative that provides our colleagues with communications, guidance and training on the simple actions they can take to reduce energy and waste in day-to-day activities in order to reduce our environmental impact.

Our energy saving actions focus on 4 key areas: refrigeration, heating, lighting and small power.

From switching off lights in office meeting rooms to closing freezer doors in our stores, these simple actions undertaken across all our operations can make a big positive impact on our environment. Our waste actions focus on improving how we recycle cardboard and plastic, and encourage our colleagues to reduce and reuse. See our  Plastics & Packaging page  for more information.
