Ingredients
- 150g Self raising flour, sieved
- 170g Brooklea fat free yogurt
To Decorate:
- 3 tbsp Caster sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 30ml Chocolate sauce (optional)
Method
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F/180°C.
- Take a large bowl and add flour then the yogurt. Mix well with a wooden spoon until you have a smooth dough.
- Tip the dough out onto a floured wooden board and knead for a minute or so, if the dough is a little sticky you can rub a little cooking oil on your hands to stop it sticking to your fingers.
- Roll the dough into a long log shape and cut into 18 strips (around 19g each).
- Roll the strips into balls and place on baking paper in the air fryer for 6-8 minutes, turning halfway through. Check them at 6 minutes, when they have puffed up, bounce back to the touch and are just starting to colour they are done.
- Mix the sugar and cinnamon in a small ramekin and brush the hot donuts with a little water and sprinkle with the sugar. Serve on a small plate with a little chocolate sauce if you wish.
