Ingredients

  • 150g Self raising flour, sieved
  • 170g Brooklea fat free yogurt

To Decorate:

  • 3 tbsp Caster sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 30ml Chocolate sauce (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F/180°C.
  2. Take a large bowl and add flour then the yogurt. Mix well with a wooden spoon until you have a smooth dough.
  3. Tip the dough out onto a floured wooden board and knead for a minute or so, if the dough is a little sticky you can rub a little cooking oil on your hands to stop it sticking to your fingers.
  4. Roll the dough into a long log shape and cut into 18 strips (around 19g each).
  5. Roll the strips into balls and place on baking paper in the air fryer for 6-8 minutes, turning halfway through. Check them at 6 minutes, when they have puffed up, bounce back to the touch and are just starting to colour they are done.
  6. Mix the sugar and cinnamon in a small ramekin and brush the hot donuts with a little water and sprinkle with the sugar. Serve on a small plate with a little chocolate sauce if you wish.
