Simple Baked Camembert 3 Ways

Ingredients

  • 1 French Camembert

Please select one topping option from below

Topping 1: Garlic & Rosemary

  • 1 Garlic Clove, thinly sliced
  • 2-3 Sprigs of Rosemary
  • Drizzle of Olive Oil

Topping 2: Chilli & Garlic

  • 1 Garlic Clove, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp of Dried Chilli Flakes
  • Salt and Pepper

Topping 3: Cranberry & Walnut

  • 1 tbsp Cranberry Sauce
  • Handful of Walnuts

Serving suggestions

  • Fresh bread, croutons, crudités or crackers

Method

Topping 1: Garlic & Rosemary

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 200°C Fan/220°C Electric/Gas Mark 7.
  2. Score a cross into the top of the Camembert.
  3. Finely slice a peeled garlic clove and add to the top of the cheese. Sprinkle the rosemary springs and drizzle the olive oil.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes or until the cheese has melted and is hot throughout.

Topping 2: Chilli and Garlic

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 200°C Fan/220°C Electric/Gas Mark 7.
  2. Score a cross into the top of the Camembert.
  3. Finely slice a peeled garlic clove and add to the top of the cheese.
  4. Sprinkle the dried chilli flakes and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes or until the cheese has melted and is hot throughout.

Topping 3: Cranberry & Walnut

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 200°C Fan/220°C Electric/Gas Mark 7.
  2. Score a cross into the top of the Camembert.
  3. Finely chop the dried walnuts.
  4. Add the cranberry sauce and sprinkle the chopped walnuts on top of the cheese.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes or until the cheese has melted and is hot throughout.
