Almond Butter Ginger Biscuits

Healthy biscuits? This quick, tasty recipe for ginger biscuits uses spirulina, packed with vitamins and minerals and, in particular, vitamin C. They’re dairy-free, vegan and utterly delicious!

Ingredients

  • 150g Ground Almonds
  • 70g Almond Butter
  • 1 heaped tsp Ground Ginger
  • 10g Spirulina Powder
  • 70ml Maple Syrup
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp Ground Cinnamon

  

Method

  1. Pre-heat your oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4.
  2. Put all the ingredients together in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Divide the mixture into 10 balls.
  4. Flatten them out slightly with the palm of your hand.
  5. Bake on a greased baking sheet for about 15 minutes, until golden.
  6. Leave to cool and enjoy.
