Hazelnut Chocolate Spread and Banana Swirl Muffins

Ingredients
- 250g Plain flour
- 1 tsp. Baking powder
- 1 tsp. Baking soda
- ½ tsp. Salt
- 4 Medium ripe bananas
- 180g Caster sugar
- 1 Medium egg
- 75ml Vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
- 12 tsp. Hazelnut chocolate spread
Method
- Preheat the oven to 170°C Fan / Gas Mark 5 and line a 12 hole muffin tin with 12 paper cases.
- Place all the dry ingredients; plain flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt into a mixing bowl and stir until combined.
- Use a fork to mash the ripe bananas then add the caster sugar, egg, oil and vanilla extract into the bowl and whisk until combined.
- Add the dry mixture into the bowl and whisk until combined.
- Divide between the 12 muffin cases.
- Place a teaspoon of hazelnut chocolate spread on top of each muffin and use a cocktail stick to swirl into the cake batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes until cooked through.
- Leave to cool and serve.
