Hot Cross Bun Tiramisu Dessert

Use your Easter Hot Cross Buns in this classic Italian dessert with a twist.

Ingredients
- 4 Village Bakery Hot Cross Buns
- 6 heaped tsp Alcafe Coffee
- 300ml Boiling Water
- 250g Mascarpone Cheese
- 300ml Double Cream
- 60ml Cromwell Cream Wine
- 30g Caster Sugar
- 50g Dark Chocolate
Method
- Dissolve the coffee in the boiling water.
- In a bowl, mix the mascarpone cheese, caster sugar, sherry and cream together, until thick.
- Grate the chocolate.
- Slice the hot cross buns in half and dip into the coffee.
- Put one soaked hot cross bun on the base of each tumbler, then top with some of the cream mixture.
