Hunters Chicken

The ultimate comfort food, this easy yet tasty Hunters Chicken is a classic for a reason!

Ingredients
- 4 x Chicken breasts
- 8 x Rashers streaky dry cured bacon
- 100g Grated cheddar cheese
For the BBQ sauce:
- 150g Tomato ketchup
- 30g Dark brown sugar
- 15g English mustard
- 20g Squeezy honey
- 25ml White wine vinegar
- 50ml water
- 1 x tsp Paprika
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200°c / 400°f/ gas mark 6.
- Wrap two rashers of bacon around each chicken breast in a cross pattern.
- Put the chicken breasts onto a metal baking tray and roast for 25 minutes.
- Meanwhile, make the BBQ sauce.
- Put all the ingredients into a small saucepan – and gently heat to melt the sugar.
- Transfer the chicken breasts to an oven proof dish.
- Pour the sauce around the breasts – sprinkle over the cheese and bake for another 10 minutes.
