Mixed Bean Chilli

A warming chilli the whole family will enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 x 400g Tin Mixed Beans
  • 1 x 400g Tin Chopped Tinned Tomatoes
  • 1 x 400g Tin Kidney Beans
  • 1 x 390g Tin Green Lentils
  • 1 x 50g Sachet Chilli Con Carne Seasoning
  • 1 x 1kg Long Grain Rice
  • 1 x 200g Pack Tortilla Chips
  • 1 x 30g Cut Coriander
  • 200ml Warm Water

  

Method

  1. In a bowl mix the seasoning with the warm water.
  2. Drain the mixed beans, kidney beans and lentils and put these into a pan.
  3. Add the tinned tomatoes, and the chilli paste.
  4. Stir well and bring to the boil, turn down the heat and simmer for 5 mins.
  5. Sprinkle the cut coriander over the chilli.
  6. Cook the rice as instructions on the pack.
  7. Serve the chilli alongside the rice and Tortilla chips.
