Pears in Blankets

Ingredients

  • 3 Miniature Pears
  • 6 Rashers Specially Selected Unsmoked Dry Cured Streaky Bacon
  • 20ml Maple Syrup
  • 12 Cocktail Sticks

  

Method

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 200°C/Gas Mark 6.
  2. Cut the pears into quarters, lengthways, and remove any pips.
  3. Using a knife, stretch out the bacon rashers on a chopping board and cut each rasher in half.
  4. Wrap each pear segment with a slice of bacon and secure with a cocktail stick.
  5. Place onto a baking tray and drizzle over the maple syrup.
  6. Roast in the oven for 15 minutes and serve immediately.
