Sage and Clementine Roasties

Enjoy crispy, tasty roast potatoes with this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1.5kg Maris Piper Potatoes
  • 3 Clementines
  • 2 tsp Sage
  • 80ml Sunflower Oil
  • Sea Salt
  • Fresh Sage Leaves

  

Method

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas Mark 6.
  2. Peel and cut the potatoes into large chunks.
  3. Boil, cover and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Heat the oil in a roasting dish.
  5. Drain the potatoes then peel the rind from the clemintines and slice into strips.
  6. Place both into the oil and roast for 30 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle sage over and roast again for a further 10 minutes.
  8. Serve with fresh sage leaves and salt.
