Scallop Sauce

Recipe

Scallops cooked in garlic, lemon juice and butter.

Serves: 2 people   |   Prep time: 5 minutes   |   Cooking time: Several minutes

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Butter
  • 3 tbsp Minced garlic
  • Scallops
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh Lemon juice

  

Method

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Stir in garlic, and cook for a few seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add scallops, and cook for several minutes on one side, then turn over, and continue cooking until firm and opaque.
  4. Remove scallops to a platter, then whisk salt, pepper, and lemon juice into butter.
  5. Pour sauce over scallops to serve.
