Sesame Dressing

Ingredients

  • 30g Dry Roasted Peanuts
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
  • 1 tsp Crushed Chillis
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 Red Chillis
  • 2 Cloves of Garlic
  • 50ml Sunflower Oil

Method

  1. Finely chop the peanuts and place in a heatproof bowl along with the sesame seeds, chilli flakes and salt.  
  2. Set to one side whilst preparing the rest of the dish.
  3. Finely chop the chilli and the garlic.
  4. Heat the oil in a small saucepan, add the chopped chilli and garlic and cook for a couple of minutes, until the garlic has started to turn golden brown.
  5. Pour the hot oil, chilli and garlic onto the peanut, sesame and chilli flake mix.  
  6. Allow to cool completely then stir all together.
  7. Serve as an accompaniment to noodle dishes to add spice and texture.
