Vegan Yorkshire Puddings

Ingredients

  • 330g Self-raising Flour
  • 1 x tsp Baking Powder
  • 450ml Unsweetened Soya Milk
  • 150ml Warm Water
  • 3 x tsp Chia Seeds
  • 50ml Sunflower Oil
  • Salt
  • 1 x 12 hole Bun Tray

Method

  1. Put the chia seeds in the water and soak for 5 mins.
  2. Add the flour, baking powder, soya milk, water, chia seeds and a little salt to a food processor and blitz to a smooth batter. Allow to rest in the fridge for 30 mins.
  3. Preheat the oven to 220c/425f/gas 7.  
  4. Pour a little oil in each hole of the tray and heat in the oven. Once the oil is hot, carefully pour in some batter to fill each hole.
  5. Bake in the oven for 20/25 mins – till risen and golden.
